Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RaddIQ ("the Service"), operated by Welaat General Trading ("RaddIQ", "we", "us") in the Kingdom of Bahrain. By using the Service, whether as a listed business ("Business") or as a customer ("Customer"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
RaddIQ is a booking facilitation platform that connects customers with businesses in Bahrain — initially private swimming pool rentals — through an AI-powered WhatsApp interface and a web/PWA application. The Service displays business listings, processes booking requests, communicates payment instructions, and tracks booking and payment status.
2. RaddIQ is not a payment processor
This is the most important clause. Read carefully:
- RaddIQ does NOT accept, hold, escrow, or transfer customer payments.
- All payments flow directly from Customer to Business via the Business's chosen method (BenefitPay, IBAN bank transfer, or other local method displayed on the Business's listing).
- RaddIQ stores screenshots of payment proof the Customer chooses to share, uses AI to verify proof, may auto-confirm confident bookings, and tracks any later Business dispute.
- Disputes about whether payment was correctly received are between the Customer and the Business. RaddIQ is not a party to any payment.
- Refunds, if any, are arranged and issued directly between Customer and Business. RaddIQ cannot issue refunds because RaddIQ never received the money.
3. Bookings
A booking may be confirmed when:
- The Customer submits a booking request,
- The Customer sends payment proof,
- RaddIQ's AI verifies the proof with sufficient confidence and automatically marks the booking confirmed, or the Business confirms it where manual review is required.
Until confirmation, the slot is reserved but not guaranteed. When AI verification is confident, the booking is confirmed automatically and the Business is notified. The Business retains the right to dispute an auto-confirmed proof within the applicable dispute window if the payment is incorrect, missing, or fraudulent.
4. Commercial arrangements
RaddIQ works with listed businesses under separate commercial partner agreements. The terms of those agreements (including any service fee, commission, or other consideration paid by the business to RaddIQ) are agreed privately between RaddIQ and each business and are not part of these public Terms.
Customers do not pay RaddIQ for bookings. The Customer pays only the listed booking price to the Business directly.
5. Business responsibilities
Businesses agree to:
- Provide accurate listing information (pricing, schedule, capacity, photos)
- Honor confirmed bookings or notify Customers promptly of unavoidable cancellations
- Review auto-confirmed bookings and dispute incorrect, missing, or fraudulent payment proofs within the applicable dispute window
- Issue refunds directly to Customers when service cannot be delivered
- Comply with all applicable Bahraini laws regulating their business (licensing, health/safety, CR registration)
- Honor any commercial obligations to RaddIQ under their separate partner agreement
- Maintain account security (passwords, access)
RaddIQ does not vet Business compliance with non-platform regulations. The Business is solely responsible for its own legal status.
6. Customer responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate booking information (number of guests, contact details)
- Pay the listed price directly to the Business via the displayed method before the timeout
- Share payment proof in good faith — fraudulent proof is grounds for booking cancellation and account suspension
- Respect Business-set rules (capacity, conduct, time limits, deposit requirements)
- Resolve service-quality complaints directly with the Business first
7. What we do not ask for
RaddIQ will never ask any Customer to share, via WhatsApp or anywhere else:
- Bank account login credentials or passwords
- Full credit or debit card numbers
- Card CVV codes
- BenefitPay PINs or PIN reset codes
- One-time-passwords (OTPs) sent to you by your bank
If anyone claiming to be from RaddIQ asks for any of the above, treat it as fraudulent and report it to hseyadi@raddiq.com.
8. Suspension and termination
RaddIQ may suspend or terminate an account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe the user has:
- Submitted fraudulent payment proofs (Customer)
- Repeatedly failed to honor bookings (Business)
- Used the Service to harass, defraud, or threaten others
- Violated Bahraini law via the Service
- Breached their separate partner agreement with RaddIQ (Business)
Termination does not relieve any party of obligations incurred before termination.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but make no guarantee of uninterrupted Service. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or rollbacks at any time. Force majeure events (network outages, third-party provider outages) are outside our control.
10. AI and automated decisions
RaddIQ uses AI to process customer messages, generate replies, and review payment proof images. Where the AI verifies proof with sufficient confidence, RaddIQ may automatically confirm the booking and notify the Business. The Business may dispute an auto-confirmed booking within the applicable dispute window. Customers can request human handover at any time by asking in WhatsApp (e.g., "I want to speak to a human" / "أريد التحدث مع موظف").
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Bahraini law:
- RaddIQ's total liability to any user, for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service, is limited to BHD 100 or the value of any commercial transactions between you and RaddIQ in the 6 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
- RaddIQ is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- RaddIQ is not liable for losses caused by Businesses or Customers acting outside these Terms.
12. Intellectual property
The RaddIQ name, logo, software, and platform are owned by Welaat General Trading. Businesses and Customers retain ownership of content they upload (listings, photos, messages) but grant RaddIQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and process that content as necessary to operate the Service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users via WhatsApp or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
