Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how RaddIQ ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Welaat General Trading in the Kingdom of Bahrain, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our WhatsApp-based booking platform at raddiq.com and via our WhatsApp service.
By using RaddIQ, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the booking platform:
From business owners (merchants):
- Business name and contact details (phone, email, address)
- Bahrain CR number
- Payment receiving methods you choose to display (IBAN, BenefitPay phone number)
- Pool/service details, pricing, schedules, and photos you upload
- Account credentials (email, hashed password)
From customers (bookers):
- WhatsApp phone number
- Name (optional, only if you share it)
- The content of your WhatsApp messages with our AI and with the business. Our AI processes these messages to understand booking requests, generate appropriate replies, and review the payment proof images you send. By messaging the RaddIQ WhatsApp number, you acknowledge and consent to this AI processing.
- Booking details (date, time, party size, special requests)
- Payment proof images you upload (screenshots, receipts)
- Approximate device and browser information for security
Automatically collected:
- IP address and approximate geographic region
- Browser type and operating system
- Pages visited on raddiq.com and timestamps
- Service interaction logs for debugging and abuse prevention
2. How we use information
- To facilitate bookings between you and the businesses on RaddIQ
- To send transactional WhatsApp messages and emails (confirmations, reminders, payment instructions, password resets)
- To track booking status
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
- To improve our AI's accuracy and the platform's reliability
- To comply with Bahraini law and lawful authority requests
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers we use
To operate the platform, we use trusted third-party service providers for the following functions:
- WhatsApp messaging delivery and reception
- Application hosting and content delivery
- Database storage (account, booking, and conversation data)
- AI processing (conversation handling and payment proof image review)
- Transactional email delivery
- Browser push notification services
These providers process data only on our instructions and only as needed to deliver their specific function. They are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes. The specific providers we use may change over time as we improve the service. A current list of providers is available on request by emailing hseyadi@raddiq.com.
4. Payment handling — important
RaddIQ does not handle, hold, store, or process customer payments. All payments flow directly from the customer to the business via the business's chosen method (BenefitPay, IBAN bank transfer, or other). RaddIQ only:
- Displays the business's payment instructions to the customer
- Stores screenshots of payment proof the customer chooses to upload
- Uses AI to check payment proof, auto-confirms confident bookings, and tracks any later business dispute
We never ask for, see, store, or have access to your bank account credentials, full card numbers, BenefitPay PIN, OTPs, or login passwords for any payment service. We will never request these in WhatsApp or anywhere else. We do not move money on anyone's behalf.
5. Data storage and security
- Account data and booking records are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with row-level security policies enforcing per-business data isolation.
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard cryptography — even RaddIQ staff cannot read them.
- Payment proof images are stored privately and accessed only via time-limited signed URLs (30 minutes).
- Some data may transit through servers outside Bahrain (e.g., the European Union, the United States) as part of normal cloud service operation.
- We retain account and booking data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 7 years after deletion to comply with commercial record-keeping requirements under Bahraini law.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Lodge a complaint with the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Authority

Account deletion is processed after a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the request from your account or settings page. To help us improve the service, we collect the reason you gave for deleting your account.
7. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies:
- raddiq-lang — your language preference (English or Arabic)
- Session cookies — to keep you signed in
- Performance cookies — for security and basic analytics
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your communication preferences
You can:
- Request human support at any time by asking in WhatsApp (e.g., "I want to speak to a human" / "أريد التحدث مع موظف"). Your conversation is then routed to a human team member.
- Opt out of non-essential messages (such as marketing or optional reminders) by replying STOP in WhatsApp.
- Expect that RaddIQ will only send you messages directly related to your bookings (confirmations, payment instructions, reminders, dispute notifications) or messages you have explicitly agreed to receive.
9. Children
RaddIQ services are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please email hseyadi@raddiq.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp or email to active users at least 14 days before they take effect.
